So I have been reloading for a couple years now. Mostly 223, 308win and 9mm did some 300blk for a bit and now getting into 45acp.
The Lee single stage served me well to learn and cut my teeth on but recently upgraded to a Dillon 650xl and well yeah life is sweet.
So having a progressive press, that's awesome but what really sucks is now knowing that the brass I can load in an hour will probably take close to 5 hours of prep using the lee trim guide etc....
I looked at my options and ended up ordering the WFT2 with 223 and 308win trim bodies and spare cutter. 2 weeks later I'm in business for 223 at least.
Box arrived today and they accidently sent me a 300wm guide instead of 308 so I guess I gotta buy a new rifle. Either way 5 min on the phone and a new 308 guide is on its way with many apologies ( and the spare 300wm body)
The down and dirty
This trimmer is awesome. Mounting it in my drill press it took a couple min setting up the trimmer. It was a little short for my standards at 1.740 out of the box. I backed it up to 1.752 and proceeded to trim approx 600 brass in 52.5 min by the stopwatch.
Quick, easy, clean cutting this tool makes case prep of bottleneck cases so so much quicker and enjoyable! I highly recommend this product to anyone who needs to trim a large volume of case in relatively short order!
