Thanks to GrensVegter and Longshot my Rem700 VLS is born agian and ready for the BCRA Tac/Sniper shoot this month:

The barrel is the stock barrel but set back and rechambered... a Mike Rock 5R 1:10" twist 30cal blank in on order. The stock is a Rem700 Police HS detachable mag stock that I bought on the board here. The Trigger guard and mag well is GrensVegter's own design as is the cheek rest. The mags are AIA 10rd (legal because they are for the AIA M10 bolt action rifles). The shorter mag is an M305 5rd mag that has had the lug modified slightly to fit like the AIA mags. Longshot did the Bolt head. The scope rail is from Rooster33.
 
GrensVegter is still building them one at a time right now so you would need to contact him by PM on here to see what he is charging. Also the converstion requires work to the action and stock so he needs your rifle to do it. It is not a drop in conversion.
 
Considering that I did very well at the BCRA service champion ship this past weekend I think my shoulder is good enough. Still a problem for pistol shooting but seems to have fixed up much faster than I was lead to believe it would.
