Should be possible - I'll have to get the rifle out and have a look at how it's attached...a spacer of some sort might be easier (like the storm).

Aimpoint Micro Baby!!!

Got my Aimpoint Micro H-1 today. I'm very impressed with this little sight. It's so light you can't even tell it's on the gun. I was trying to get a feel for how far forward to mount it and droped it right on the floor from about 5 feet...no problems at all! The only thing I don't like is the gloss black finish but, it's not too bad. Range test this weekend.

New range test.

I was able to get out with the 97 again today to test the scope mount and Aimpoint Micro. I zero'd the rifle ( based on TDC's improve Battle sight zero calculatons) at 75 yards and it worked like a charm. This zero provided me with a "point and pull" zero so that I could hit most reasonably sized objects from 10 yards out to 200. I highly recomend anyone who have the 97 shorty set your sights up for the 75 yard zero...thanks TDC!

The aimpoint micro worked like a charm, It was a very bright day and I only needed to use setting 9 to see the dot clearly. I love this sight, it's very lightweight and mounts close to the original sight line.

The airsoft mount held strong and didn't budge.

The rifle worked 100% again through another 120 rnds of dirty bird ammo.

It was oiled up pretty good - what it was I'm not too sure. It cleaned up good though.

Why not call it the Red rifle section instead...
There will be the black and the red section.

Just try to figure out what will fall in the black and the red sections. Guess it will be more convenient that way.
