My nose is too big for CZ?

LOL. When I am using a regular foldable stock I always getting my nose kicked. Its not happening with a regular stock, but I really like compact size of non-restricter with stock folded. Any solutions beside plastic surgery? :D
 
Its the 12 3/4" LOP. You need to square your shoulders up to the target and possibly pull your head back just a little. I think everyone does that with their new 858 :)
 
how about a "pussy pad' strapped to your shoulder?- that will increase your lop by about 1/2 to 3/4s of an inch without making the gun longer
 
i had same prob with my CZ and sks . just get a large butt pad. cheap and easy. even if you have to tape it to the stock its better then getting hit
 
Things I have seen done to this rifle to make up for this design were;
Paracord, piping insulation, electrical tape and also once I seen some one with a custom kydex check piece.
 
If you don't want to go the surgery route, might I humbly recommend Cyanoacrylate Proboscis Relocation/Retaining Adhesive? It is fairly inexpensive and works quite well. I've had to use a similar product, which is Cyanoacrylate Penile Retention Adhesive due to an oversize Peter.

I am a stock crawler and I was always getting popped in the beak with my factory folders. I wanted a folder though, so I bought the Fab folders from Zahal and now I have one on all three of my CZ's. You can set them up so they can fold either direction and the shnoz no longer gets bumped.
 
Saskcop, do you square your shoulders to the target or use a shot-gunners stance? I'm tall, and a squared stance means I can use the OEM folder with no problems. Heck, on my AR the stock is open only to the first position because of my stance. A squared stance also keeps you on plate, which is important in your line of work.

I keep very square - most of the time. BUT, I am a notorious stock crawler. I have never (knock on wood) been bitten by a scope - even when racking rounds through my .338 RUM, but I have been poked in the nose numerous times by a factory folder on a CZ858. Crazy stuff. I am tall too at just over 6'3", but it is just one of those things.
