I thought I'd share this picture of my sorta new non-restricted Swiss Arms CQB.

The non-restricted barrel and shroud was made by Ian Herron at Herron Arms. I'm very happy with Ian's work. I've put about 500 rounds through this setup so far with no issues at all and I think it looks great. I can hit a 12 inch gong at 200 yards all day with an Aimpoint red dot and I'm not a very good shot either.

This rifle has definately replaced my HK USC as my favorite NR black rifle.

Thanks :)

It's stinkin heavy. With a Surefire light, red dot and magnifier it weighs more than 10 pounds.

Can you measure the empty gun with nothing on it?

I'm interested in the weight difference between the NR CQB and the regular NR version. I'm sure others are dying to know as well.

Whats with the 2' long fake can , looks weird

Its to make the skinny 19 inch non-restricted barrel look less wierd. Similar idea as on the NR Kriss.

Looks good, how do you like the mag adaptor?

It works very well. Haven't had an issue with it yet. Have put about 200 rounds through it so far. Although to be honest I slightly prefer the NEA lower due to the AR mag release and the shorter length of pull (I have slightly shorter arms than most). Also another advantage of the adaptor is that you can insert the magazine like you would in an AR, you no longer have to insert them in that wierd way like on the stock mags.

I'll break out the kitchen scale tomorrow and get back to you :)

I considered that one hundreds of times per day, I was actually glad the temptation was removed when it was pulled from the EE.

Now it's even ###ier. How much did that barrel/shroud set you back (if you don't mind my asking)?
