Call me weird, but I like using "shoot & see" 3 inch targets on a 8.5 X 11 inch paper background. For my 20 yard, 38 and 44 special/45 acp range time.

I really like the instant feedback of a centered hold.
Anyone else use shoot&see for handgun?

Cheers.......

Hmmm... You are weird:D I shot seven years and never pay a cent to buy target. Go home depot to get some print sample card, you can choose what ever colour you want.

Ummm, what's "shoot and see", and what is a "print sample card"?
Pics would be nice :)

The shoot and see target is the bullet holes will change colour so soon as the bullet hit the target. They are not cheap. As for the print sample card that I got from home depot, I can take some pics but if someone can post it for me. please PM me your email address.

I have used the shoot n see but they are expensive at $1 each in packs of ten. I use photo copied targets from Staples that are $0.06 each.

3" at 20yrd though, very good. I have done that with shoot n see's using my Beretta and Kimber, but most of the time a larger area of the 8" target was required.

Thank you Matt, I can't do this all the time, but thats what I strive for....
With the significant help from an early Colt Model 3-5-7, with 6" barrel, dedicated target grips and
38 special ammunition.

Since I moved east, I spend more time pistola shooting, than high power rifle shooting.
That will change a bit this spring/summer.
(high power TR/Palma style etc)
Cheers!

The "ShootNSee" targets are great for practicing from 25 meters or more as you get instant feedback as to where your'e rounds are hitting. You can correct or detect a problem you might be having without firing a whole clip then holstering and walking down range to see your shot placement. I use them sparingly and only for the longer distances but they work great.

Trigun,

Are you referring to paint sample cards perhaps?

Jeff/1911.

You are the man Jeff! Thank for correct my spelling mistake. Yes it is the BEHR paint sample card, measure by 3 in square with round corner. There are several saturated colour which is highly visible. Well worth to try.
