My P226 lost alittle around the waist

and we start here with all its glory.

start by stripping off the slide and the old grips. need to replace the decocker. old one.

new decocker. hard to see the change

next is the trigger spring.

and the new one.

the old and new hammer struts

took the liberty and got a softer hammer spring. alot nice DA pull now.

and here it is with a smaller belt line. easier to handle for sure.

only downside is i now have less of an argument of why i need a new gun........

Keep in mind that you may be more likely to encounter failures-to-fire due to the lighter mainspring; i.e. not all factory ammunition is going work as reliably as they used to.

Keep good records to see which ammo works best.

Where'd you find those E2 grips? How long did it take you to swap them out? Pretty straight forward?
