It's really a Beretta's mother, there are so many similarities between that and 92F! Anyways, this is a 1943 P38 that I got from a fellow CGNer. Looks great and shoots well. While I am not going to win any bullseye shooting competition with it, it does the job. Here is the grouping at 7-8 meters, 124 grain American Eagle.

No idea. I just picked it up this week, should hopefully have it at the range tomorrow. I have heard Winchester white box 115gr is the way to go. Try and be easy on her, lots of horror stories of guys using too hot of ammo and having parts go flying off.

Thanks for the heads up. That's what I thought - 115 grain. What was original ww2 German 9 mm? 115?
 
BHP and P38 where the first true combat pistols :)

I do love the large ejection port and SA/DA action of the P38
