Am I missing something really good out there?

Any CZ would be a good edition. I found out the expensive way after buying a few other 9 mm's how much more accurate my CZ 85 Combat and CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow were than what I already had. For a mid priced 9 MM, they are hard to beat by other 9's at double the price.

Everyone has a different approach to collecting. Whether you are missing something depends on what your objective is Eg WWII, unique actions, iconic examples, one brand, one model over the years, or simply anything you like the look of

+1. And now I have 6 CZ's.

It really depends on your interests and what you like. There is no right answer. As a new shooter I've sampled several different types of guns but seem to be settling in on some of the older, more "classic" stuff. Right now the safe contains

Browning Buck Mark .22
Browning Hi-Power 9mm
Browning Hi-Power .40S&W
CZ 75 75th Anniversary Edition 9mm
STI Trojan .45acp
Smith and Wesson 586 .357
Smith and Wesson K-38 Target Masterpiece (.38 special)
Beretta 71 .22
Dominion Arms P762 (7.62x25)
Grand Power K100 MK7 9mm
Grand Power K22S .22

The last three, while good guns, may well end up on the EE in the near future........ As I said, it all depends on how your interests evolve.
