My pistol shoots palm sized groups all day... Prove it!

From the NRA Rulebook:

4.7 25 yard rapid or timed re - Exactly the same target as the 50 yard slow re except that only the 9 and 10 rings are black.

4.8 50 yard slow re Standard American Target - 8, 9 and 10 rings black.
X ring ......................1.695 in
10 ring .....................3.36 in
9 ring .......................5.54 in
8 ring .......................8.00 in
7 ring .....................11.00 in
6 ring .....................14.80 in
5 ring .....................19.68 in

Thanks for the info. As I said, I wasn't sure which way the original size was supposed to be.

My old post, from Clobb's thread, printed out targets too small, and then scaled even smaller to adjust for 20 yd shooting:

My 8 ring is about 6-3/32" across. Group dia is about 2-5/8" with the 99. I really need to try this again at a proper 25 yd distance. Now that I have some ammo that works in my gun, I'll give that a try next time I'm out.

I used staples and mine came out the same as originals. His 8 ring is much closer to the boarder as the other targets people posted.

Harry Callahan Target # 2 and 3 did the same thing in post #45, or unless its cut off by the camera.

Single target pics are actually cut by the camera. The last pic shows all 4 targets and the 7 marked ring on all 4's.

Some phenomenal targets have been posted so far. 1/2" under spec to boot!!!!

When I can keep 10 shots on a desert plate at 25yds maybe I'll consider posting my target. Don't see that happening any time soon.

In the same boat but these threads are making me get out more and try to improve. Still mucking around with specific loads so could take some time yet. Congrats to the fine shooters on here and thanks for the inspiration.

Went out today with the 22/45 and the rear sight pin came out and wouldn't let me adjust sights to the right ( Damn lemon gun )The Single Six with the scope, Half the eye relief makes for a weak un supported grip. No entry's worthy of anything more then a shotgun blast.
