My poor glock and my bloody hand!

what i will note between the OP's gun.vs. mine after, the 1911, held out just fine. No damage at all. Infact the guy i sold it to, tinkered a bit with it, and now has it running smoothly. I still would never fire it.

Prefer to flare and powder throw separately for finer control. A lot easier switching btw calibers when separate.
Can also seat & crimp in one step but prefer separate for finer control.
Don't need 6. Dillon is:
1- decap/ full length
2- Flare/ powder throw
3- Powder check
4- Seat
5- Crimp

Only difference from what you stated is it flares and dispenses powder in the same step. Pretty standard I thought.

Hope you have fun pulling all the bullets out :) I would never shot other's reload, powder makes a good light show.
I just remembered I got 250 9mm reloads with a gun from a noob I bought last week.

My rule is that when my press acts up, I ditch all the rounds on it. the ones with just powder get dumped into the hopper and one with the bullet get pulled. Very hard to double charge on Loadmaster, but I do find the LNL easy to get a squib load if you let go of the arm mid stroke, it will drop and advance a quarter turn.

The lesson here is to not use other's reloads. Or at least weigh them before using. I'm sure most shooters here have used others hand loads. My delema is I shoot so often my ammo consumption is very high and i let my guard down only once.
I'll still going to reload. This is my second "kaboom" pistol. Had a similar situation 15 years ago. I've seen factory ammo explode in firearms too. Just one of those things. A bad day at the range is still better than...ah never mind. Adios.

Just wanted to thank you for your story and I'm sure many of us learned something from this post!

Was watching Doomsday preppers and one episode the guy blew off his tumb because he either had it next to the gap between the Cylinder and the barrel or extended beyond the muzzle. I think he was shooting a Tauras Judge. He was shooting out in the desert with his kids.
