My Precision Rifle built from parts in the EE

Where did you get that stock from? Can you please confirm the make and model? I have been hunting around on the internet and have not been successful finding more information about.

Great looking rifle!!!

If I understood correctly from Boom-Boom, sinclair made this stock for two years and then dropped it. I have found no marks or anything on it, with any luck maybe he will chime in and set us straight again. :D

I didn't know this was a paint-ball forum... :p

Wow, I've never seen anything like this before. Can't say I like the looks, but boy can it put holes on paper  Impressive shooting.

more powder

Shot another five sets of work up loads, this time I retested that same load I posted and then four more sets going up one grain at a time. Never got any pressure signs but did get the vertical stringing to reappear as the loads got hotter. I shot this group with one grain more then the previous target I posted, I think we are very close and I am going to try a half a grain more and a half a grain less. The weather sucks today so I am hugging the wood stove and forming more brass.

got out there

Had it out on the five hundred meter field for the first time, I made it on the paper with level scope bases albeit not by much. I predicted 96 inches of drop being sighted in at 100 meters, it was more along the lines of 130 inches or so. The winds were hard to read at times but I landed five scoring shots on the target, the five shot group was just under moa, groups at two hundred and three hundred meters were just as impressive. I have since found a source for 300 savage brass and so I will have more brass to play with. We are going to try and get a shot of the muzzle blast, nearly as long as the barrel is, I saw it out of the corner of my eye while shooting but a couple people actually moved back. I wish I could have seen it first hand. I will post pics of the targets as soon as I unload all the gear from the truck.

Was a little windy all the way out to the targets at all distances, all targets were shot with 42 grains of H335 and the 134 grain BiB bullets. Bullet drop was an amazing 11 feet at five hundred meters with a original sight in at 100 meter, fortunately for me I had enough adjustment in that weaver to get the job done. The vertical stringing at 500 meter was all wind, watched the flags and thried to read it as best I could, All in all I am a happy customer :D

Tha's a great weather report!:dancingbanana:
vertical stringing is very minimul, so the wind is the only buggaboo.
great start , for sure!
BTW, some may think that's an over the edge rifle, but I've seen weirder rigs!
That one is actually pretty easy to like , and this coming from a wood stock lover!
Cat

She is looking very good!!
I'm glad that the project worked so well for you.

Hey Cat I am glad I could swing you away from the tadition wood love :D
I get a lot of finger prints on her at every range I shoot it on, seams to stick out in the crowd pretty good. That alluminum stock might get the better of me come next winter though, gotta love the rubber pistol grip though.

Glad you finally saw it Tango, a little different from what you saw of it last but I am loving it and the attention it gets. I have found some data and got a lot of input here and on another forum as far as data goes so I am off to a great start. All will change as I am going to the 300 savage brass shortly so the load developement will start all over.

And again the vertical stringing seen on these targets was all wind related, My impact was slowly moving to the left with every shot, as my hold over to the right was increasing so was the wind. The next match is in June and I am excited to see what I can do the second time around with it.
