Videos from the range! here's number 1, shot at 420fps.
Why only 420 fps? You should be able to get over 1000 with that pistol... If you are shooting IPSC you need at least 125 power factor.. (minor)
Power factor = bullet weight in grains X velocity in fps / 1000
with a 115 grain bullet you need 1086 fps for 125 PF
with a 124 grain bullet you need 1008 fps for 125 PF
with a 147 grain bullet you need 850 fps for 125 PF
Af shooting buddy of mine says.. more is better and too much is just enough.. LOL
Nice videos.. will have to try that sometime..
Try some IMR SR4756 4.5 grains with a 147 grain bullet COL of 1.136 in with give you a PF of 150...
My Tanfoglio Match in 9mm loves that load.

He is talking about the frame rate of the camera. 420 Frames Per Second. (FPS) not Feet Per Second.![]()
I do intend to take more. I had taken more videos, but they weren't framed properly. I had the camera set up on the shooting bench, and I stood next to it, guesstimating the right position.
The EX-FC100 is a neat camera, but the nature of the technology forces the camera to drop the quality and dimension of the video clip in order to process the frames fast enough. At 1000 FPS, the quality goes down noticeably, as you've seen. Next time i'll have someone frame the shot for me, and i'll stand more into the sunlight. Hopefully I'll have something to use as a backdrop to get a better contrast, too.
btw, thanks for the correction on the frames per second thing![]()
