I bought this Lee Enfield several months ago, and have shot it many times and it is a nice shooter. So I thought I would give it a face lift. I sanded the oil stain/varnish off and did some extra sanding to get rid of some scratches . I also repaired some deeper nicks, some are gone and some you can still see, although they are smooth now. I put on several coats of TruOil to finish the stock. The barrel I also sanded to get rid of some scratches and painted with an Enamel paint and then heat treated it in the oven to make it a little harder.

Very Nice,
I did a 1941 Finnish Mosin and now working on a Japanese type 38.
Both were headed for the scrap heap but the old timer that owned them offered to let me "hack" away on them.
