Ok so if anyone caught my little rant in the general forum about canada post and their delays, this was the rifle I was itching to have in my hands.

Its gone through a few changes from its stock configuration of a 700 AAC-SD in a houge stock to being in a Arch Anglestock.

When I wanted to get serious about a long range rig I looked at just a new barrel but decided to revamp the whole system. Afyer talking with Jerry at Mystic and picking up a new Shillen SS match barrel blank he recommended Terry at Black Art Rifle. Terry was excellent to deal with and his work is nothing short of excellent.
All work done:

Trued action and blueprinted
tactical knob
Mcmillan A3 stock
Shillen SS match finished at 26in #7 heavy contour (no she is not light lol)
bedded
limbsaver pad
bead blasted action and jeweled bolt (which I didnt request. I love it, it just never crossed my mind to have him do it)
I had Lima 1-1 as an homage to my start in shooting when I was in cadets

I put my Vortex Viper PST mrad ffp 6-24 with vortex rings. the wrap on the stock is from voodoo tactical I got from Taccessories.

Just gotta wait for days off to shoot her!

Looked at the first pic while reading and thought " that's not a Mcmillan A3 ... " but low and behold , down at the bottom there she is. Nice gun , ya definitely a pretty heavy barrel. .308 I have assume ? Nice gun congrats

Its gonna be a super star with that barrel on it
 
Terry has done a couple rifles for me and I've always been very happy with the results. You're gonna have a real shooter on your hands. I've been thinking of a 7LRM build. I think it may be time to get a hold of Terry again!
 
Wow, that rifle has had a tough go...;) Third generation sure looks nice though.

What is it, .308? My .223 is Shillen Select, couldn't be happier. I'm close to 3000 rounds and still sub. Terry built my .223 and he'll be doing the next too. He did a fantastic job.
