My Reloads Fired Great in my Glock Thanks

Just wanted to say thanks to all of you guys that answered my questions over the last week. My mid range reloads worked great in my Glock 17 today.

My shooting wasn't good but I chalk that up to nerves testing the first batch.

I worked it out and am saving 9.00/box using 115gr FMJs. Not too bad considering I haven't bought in bulk yet. Well worth the effort and the learning.

With regards to what you said about not shooting well... It could be nerves but it could also be your handloads. When I started reloading I would go to the range and try out different batches, concentrating solely on how hot or cold my loads were. Sometimes I'd shoot great and sometimes I'd shoot very poorly and, at the time, I always chalked it up to having good days and bad. It was only later when I gained confidence as a shooter and gained knowledge as a handloader that I realized that all this time, every time I tought I was having a "bad shooting day", it was probably 'cause those loads just didn't shoot well from that particular gun...

Anyway, just something to think about. If you keep making the same recipe and always shoot poorly, start looking at tweaking your loads instead of blaming your poor shooting skills.
