My Rifle Shoots 1/2 MOA at 300 yards/meters All Day! Really? Prove It!

Thank you for the encouragement! I will try to beat my record!

You're a tough act to follow. Nice shooting.

I will give it a go, Unfortunately I am still gathering the bits and pieces to make this a reality. Got the gun... just need some of the peripherals and I need more time.. (dammit)

Geez, If I could get the savage 10FCP HS .308 to shoot like any of the guns here, I'd sell it for twice what I paid! LoL!!

I just watched Underthegun hit a piece of florescent orange duct tape 1.75" X 1.75" first shot cold bore at 500 meters. First shot as I mean he drove 3 hours to get to our range, unpacked, set up and fired one shot. He jumped up from the bench and danced around like king of the world. His son and I witnessed it.

Sound's like fun,I came i second at you gun club, last year,I am in my 70's and still love shooting that was 22 cal peep sights ,this year I pick up a win. model 70 in 223 win. super short magnum,My Son a & I painted egg;s ,were shooting them at 430 yard's very nice rifle.Thank's guy's for you time Steven,PS They say my rifle shoot's 4700 ft per fps,I loaded Varget 38 grains ,Hornady v-max 55 grain 3616 vel, work good for Me.

That was my first time shooting my Hammerli-Tanner 7.5X55 topped with Bushnell Elite 6500 6.5-30X50 using GP11 ammo at 300 meters. I shot eight 5 shots group to sight it in and see the grouping, so I clicked the windage and elevation only after every 5 shots. Glad to find the last group #8 to be 0.469 MOA.

Would give it try later.

Was shooting for 300 meters 10-shot under 3" challenge, and found the first 5-shot groups(the last group is 6 shots though) to be under 0.5 moa, now I have the courage to challenge this challenge:).

That is an excellent result. I know how he felt. I once fired one shot at over 300 yards when I was on a hunting trip and saved the target. The following year I set that target up at the very same place and fired one more shot... it was less than an inch away from the previous years shot. I was elated my scope, mounts, rifle were that stable and accurate over a year.

8 names and last edited 2016, never thought the challenge would be so tough

well five consecutive half moa 5 shot groups at 300 yards is not an easy task. You can't mix up keyboard accuracy with real world results

My best shooting rifle is unlikely to shoot below .75moa, more likely 1moa on 25 shots
