I bought my rpr awhile back it's in 308 flavor I recently got into 6.5 creedmor and haven't shot this since so I decided to talk to Jerry at MP and ordered up a Shilen barrel for it in 6.5 creedmor and than proceeded to strip it down and wait well while it was down I found a cool product called Wheeler ceracoat and was gonna do it in od green that's a whole other story ended up a flat dark earth and I think it's pretty ###y haha still waiting on new barrel but figured may as well put it back together and shoot while I wait and the best groups I have gotten so far are remington 175g match go figure hey!! Hi Jerry:
thx but whats frustrating to me about that group is its factory loaded ammunition haha i have a million different recipes and bullets for the 308 and darn it if i cant find something that gets me groups like that, i cant wait for my barrel i think i have the 6.5 load of choice all dialed in at least for my savage and i think it will be a great starting point for my rpr once its converted and unfortunately its only a 4 shot group so the pros on here will say its nothing unless 5 or 10 haha but at least i know the rifle is capable its all up to me
I hope to be hearing from you soon about the barrel
cheers, Steve

Yes it's really a pretty nice rig now, I think with the new barrel it will really shine, well I hope so anyways And the rzr is a fantastic piece of glass in my opinion, I scooped it at a great discount when the wholesale was closing down, saved about 1200 bucks on it otherwise I could never have afforded it or rather would never have! The only problem now is all my other scope pale in comparison haha
