go for the shooter , just incase the collector you receive is either really nice or rare that you dont ever wanna shoot.

my thinking was to shoot both of them but leave the collector all original and bubba the shooter


p.s. do i need the .30 cal brush for cleaning purposes?

Why would you hide them in a safe ? SKS's are not prohibited or even restricted . I shoot mine all the time

i find those brush becomes too small after a few useage , i prefer bigger brush like .338 ..... curtton

just got off the phone with marlin.

got some bad news , the shipment will be delayed again till first or second week of april.

on the good news side, the boat is on route . the container has approx 500 SKSs, majority for frontier.

more info about the rifles, it was used by the russian military, possibly by reservist (he wasnt sure) . been in storage for decades.

marlin wasnt sure, all he could tell me was it was used by the russian army , maybe he meant the soviet army.

its a mystery , i guess we will find out when we read the markings on the rifle.

SIR's web site is about as accurate as Marstars when it comes to items in stock .
