I just recently switched my Shadow over to a fully adjustable SA trigger, :D I couldn't resist sharing due to the fact that I have completely fallen in love with this pistol AGAIN!

For any shooter who loves a 1911 trigger, but not the mag release or "feel" of the grips this could be the way to go.

It was a bit of work to get in and took a complete dis-assembly to do, but it was entirely worth it! There IS a solution to that long DA trigger after all, lol! Cheap too, ;)

I have a CZ 75B SA, and I love it as well. Very nice SA trigger right out of the box. It's very friendly for a left hand shooter as well. It already has the ambi safety, and I just took it all apart to flip the mag release to the other side. It's a keeper, for sure.

Hmmm, it IS a very good trigger, but I like them in 'white' alum color. If you shoot 'a bit' - black finish will start to come off :)
I got one on my 75B SA, along with Comp hammer and new sights (etc) - very nice to shoot and excellent accuracy.
Trigger reset is still quite long as I kept FPB, I shoot the gun in IDPA.

Don't mistake this for a 75B SA... I have a 75B SA also with the same sights as a Shadow and the SA trigger. The trigger in my Shadow is NOT the same as the CZ-75B SA trigger. It's a part straight from CZ Custom USA and is MUCH better than the stock SA trigger or the TS SA trigger. Adjustable for over travel AND take up. I think the trigger now only moves about 1/32" from click to reset and back again. Next to no take up at all...

This is the trigger: czcustom.com/cz75satriggerfactorycustom.aspx

And this is the Stock SA 75B trigger: czcustom.com/cz75satriggerfactoryalloy.aspx

The difference is the ability to get rid of the ugly take up. As I haven't changed the sear or any sear cage parts it's still a 3lb tuned Shadow break. It's MUCH better than my stock 75B SA. Here's a pic of the SA aside my Shadow pre-new trigger.

Well, total dis-assembly of the pistol except for mag release is necessary to get at the part you need to change. Here's a YouTube tutorial. :D

It's a fair bit of work, but after putting 300 rounds through it yesterday and 200 2 day before that... I gotta say the difference is exactly what this pistol needed. My draw/fire accuracy at speed (under 1.7 seconds generally) is substantially better due to not having that gigantic take up. The trigger reset is still a shadow short reset so my double taps are still in the 0.2-0.3 second par range. I think the biggest advantage is that first shot being right there and any subsequent shot after a reload. :D I'm really enjoying this shadow now...

Only the trigger part. You can replace the trigger pin also if you need to, but nothing is done to the hammer, sear or sear cage.

It's only just the physical piece that your finger touches that is different, :D

Fwiw, it only took me a total of about 1.5 hours to do this on my work bench. Hardest thing is to drive that trigger pin out and then get it back in once you change the trigger...
