Bought a SDI M4 from Wolverine a few years ago, finally have it all together the way I like and will post a couple of pictures. Big thanks to all the guys and gals at Wolverine for helping me with the build. I am very happy with it.

Upgrades to the rifle include:
MagPul CTR buttstock
MagPul MIAD grip
MagPul enhanced trigger guard
MagPul ASAP plate
MagPul sling
MagPul PMags
Tangodown stubby grip
Arms #40P BUIS
Trijicon front sight post
EOTech 551.A65
Daniel Defence 7.0 Lite Rail
Yankee Hill Machine Phantom 5C2 flash hider

About 2K rounds through it without a single hiccup.

I approve!

Does that flash-hider work well?

Also, how do you find the eo-tech with the A-frame iron sight still in place?

Flash Hider is awesome, even in the middle of the night there is barely a sign of flash using most 5.56mm ammo. I am very happy with it, performs how I wanted it to.

The EOTech with the iron sights in place are fine. They co-witness perfectly and the BUIS are folded out of the way. Very accurate firearm with both sets of sights.

Nice.

Anyone else have/used a Sabre AR before? I see Wolverine still has some uppers in stock, and curious how they compare to say LMT? Also with Sabre's past issues, just wondering if that might be an issue, say warranty wise.

I have shot LMT's and believe that Sabre Defence rifles are far beyond them in terms of quality, fit, function and precision to details. As far as I know, Wolverine is still offering full lifetime warranties on them. Doesn't bother me though, AR parts are so abundant and this rifle is heavy duty I can't see ever having a problem with it.

I think SDI rifles are one of the best AR's out there, I waited to get one from Wolverine for years and was one of the first purchasers in the country to get a 14.5" bbl from them. Love this rifle, IT WILL NEVER BE SOLD!

Thx. I am considering the 11.5" and 14.5" Sabre uppers. Just not sure which one is better overall. I guess it basically comes down to 'looks' since it would just be plinking and all.

Would have liked one of the stripped lowers as well... they looked purty.

haha didt mean to get you wound up. Just wondering if you spent time in with the US Army. Relax.

Sorry if I came off snotty, not my intention. I am not a member of the military but my cousin spent four tours with Special Forces in Bahgdad, he was one of the first guys over. He is done now, sent me a bunch of his gear he used, some in great shape, others obviously seen some troubled times.

Just thought the M4 would look good on the brass and the ACU's just to give the picture some dimension.

I've owned more than a few LMTs and some other high end ARs (all have functioned perfectly) and am wondering exactly how the Sabres function better?
