I've had this one sitting in my safe for a while now and took it out for the first time yesterday. I figured I'd take some pictures and show it off
I bought this as a post-tour gift to myself because I wanted a rifle that would replicate the look and feel of my Tikka (http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=579717) and be cheaper to shoot.
My observations thus far:
-It's a really heavy rifle so shooting offhand can be a bit difficult.
-The Falcon scope sitting on top is a bit much. I never really went past 10x.
-CCI Gamepoints (?) worked really well. Lot's of gopher flipping action
-There wasn't a huge difference in the wounds between my .17 and .22, but with the .17 there was a lot less twitching and dancing.
-Shooting critters is fun
Now for the goods.
