This is my Savage MK II FV-SR. With alot of help from another member here, it is almost complete, it just needs some lower scope rings.

x3 on the rings. They look exactly like the ones that came on my new crossbow. I got a sore neck trying to see through the scope.... LOL Burris lows would looks sweet on there. Sharp looking rig !!!!!!!!!!

Looking good. I love the FV-SR's.

Open to questions? Any reason you used the rear swivel stud for the bipod? I would think that would just keep you from using a sling unless there was a reason for it? Just curious.

Looking very sharp. Which flash hider/brake is that?

It's my wife's gun actually, I fancied it up for her, she doesn't really ever need a sling. I used the refer stud because when the bipod is up, the legs were longer than the barrel. That was before the brake though so it might not be now.

The muzzle brake is from savage, I'm told it was a prototype for something? Either way it looks great and has a good weight to it.

Greetings.

Rifle looks great! My latest .22 is an FV-SR too, thought not as snazzy as that one! :) I see you reversed the direction of the EGW rail, was that to get the rear scope ring a little further back? Should be no problem if the scope's eye relief demands it, but watch that your empties can clear reliably. EGWs are milled-out on one side only for that.

Where did you get that muzzle brake? Does savage sell them???
