It is easy just phone Wholesale Sports
order some med. B-square rings (black) 1" scope for.22
item # 192571 $10.99
If you want silver it's 192572 same price
See through high's are 192573 and black only same price.
You could by both med and high see through's and you will have it all covered for about $30.00 shipped to your door.

I am looking and I see that in their mag. Are B-Square rings decent? I don't want to have to zero it every time I go out because they get loose. I got the weavers because they are good and I know they won't move. Will it be the same for these?

I know I am not stupid, it's just frustrating

Rings

You said that your scope turns when you tighten your rings. You must have the ones with the hook on one side and screws on the other. Weaver has new ones with 4 screws on the upper cap. They are also wider so that your scope won't kreep when fire the gun repeatedly. Buy the medium height ring and you will be fine. Weaver or Millett sell for about $30

I agree, phone you local smith and ask him if he can strech your current rings for you..... should be cheaper then buying new ones.

if he has a pipe stretcher he should be able to do it no problem....

make sure you tel lyour smith to only use a left hand triple twist titanium pipe stretcher with teflomoly coating
then after your smith asks what your the hell your talking about tell him to just sell you new rings LOL

Cornflake,
Don't listen to these jokers, send me your rifle and scope and I will get it going for you.
Send a bulk pack of federals too so i can sight it in.
Way easier then ordering rings through some mailorder company or heaven forbid taking your rifle to a local gun shop.

Yes - certainly - you deserve the most inane post award - although others have tried hard! You mentioned that you couldnt see well enough using a 3-9, hence the need for a 4-12. Are you trying to shoot your 22 out to 300 yards, or do you just have terrible eyesight?
Save your old rings - once you make the realization that you cant reasonably shoot a 22 beyond 50 to 100 y, or that the cheesy 22 mounts wont hold that heavy 4-12, you'll be looking for another scope.
Finally, referring to your post on the first page - the 4-12 40AO is even more ill suited for a shotgun!

I am not shooting 300 yards. I am shooting about 50-100 yards. I am just not able to see a target at 100 yards and I have amazing sight. Even with my 30-06 with a 3-9x40, at 300 yards, I see the target but it is sooo small. I think I should atleast be able to see the center organge circle. I dunno how you guys do it.

Well I went to Lebarons today with my rings and I have medium rings so I need to get high rings which I didn't get because I got new rings for my shotgun. I will save my old rings because I did pay good money for them but the 22 scope is going on the shotgun unless I decide to put a airgun 4x32 scope on it.

Thanks all for your help

Sorry to change the subject, but I'd love to borrow that non- moly pipe stretcher. My buddy has a few short pistols that only need an inch or two to change to restricted. I say FTWT and put the 40mm on the shotgun.
The first thing I'd do is get a regular scope rail onto the groove set up. That will give you some flexibility

Try turning the scope around... Seriously, you must be doing something wrong if you cant see the target using a 3-9 at 100 y. Too bad you elected not to join a range - you'd be much farther ahead at this point.

I have no money to join a range close to me. Maybe I would have been way furthar ahead but no money.

I can see the target but just not as close I want to. I want the orange paint in the center of the target to fill up my scope when I look at it.

Tasco rings are #### so I am not going to buy them.

s**t, if you need it that close, maybe you do need glasses..... that is a pretty narrow field of view...

lol I said I would like it to be like that but it's not going to be with a 4-12. I have great vision also
