My scoped Vz58

Whoa! Cool your jets. Some gun shops don't have a dedicated online retail staff. It will arrive in time.

And... Welcome to Canadian gun ownership :) Your patience will always be tested.

Anybody use the mag couplers? I imagine having magazines beside each other may interfere with the magazine release, can anyone chime in?

Damn those 5 rnd mags look so ###y, suits the longer barrel. I am thinking of purchasing a vz58 in the new year and your setup is pretty much what I want.

Sorry too lazy to quote..
But i dont think the OP said what brand that scope was?
Nice and short. Probably would have worked better than my 10 inch long 1-6x lol. :(

Basically, it's just stock CSA Vz58 with a Magpul CTR + riser and a Belomo PO 3.5x17.5P strapped to a side mount using cheap Traditions scope rings (it makes using the dials easy... and they're cheap) The FOV isn't too impressive with this scope. I don't like shell deflectors and a small 3.5x magnification scope is all you need for a 7.62x39... Plus I wanted to keep the stripper clip guide accessible (I'm weird that way) A Leatherwood or Primary Arm scope would be choice, but again. I don't like clumsy looking shell deflectors. I also installed a custom modified GG&G AR-15 sling plate for the truck hunting variable.

So far satisfied with it, feels comfortable to handle. But, I will have to see how the short eye relief likes my eye socket.

There ya go!

Hey BeaverMeat, does that magpul cheek riser snap on nice and tight? Thinking of getting one. Again great setup man.
