I'm not overly fond of magazines - particularly since they usually are not always flawless in operation and are easily lost - of which I have lost my share too and have always paid a premium to replace. I looked into the Weatherby mag kit and maybe one day, but the action as it stands has worked flawlessly for me. It holds five and is easily emptied and reloading is a piece of cake. In my opinion, the perfect magazine setup is on my '54 Enfield (non-sprortered) as it holds 10 and top loaded with a stripper clip. My k98 holds 5 and my Eddystone holds 6. If you get excited with iron sights on a bolt gun, you'd be having wet dreams after seeing my Enfield, as it has both the rear appurature and the original ladder sight affixed to it.
