My second pistol purchase

My Stack On 14 guns cabinets was getting too full with rifles,so I started buying hand guns

Took the plunge and placed an order with Freedom Ventures last month for a STI Tactical SS 5.0 in 9mm. This is my first 1911 and I am really impressed by the fit and finish of this pistol. I manage to lay down a nice playing card size grouping at 10 yards the first time out with my ageing eyes.

I wanted something with rails, so it was a choice between the Duty One and this, in the end the long dust cover won

Good move….you can get more handguns to fit in the cabinet than rifles. Simple math.

Sig 226 was my first purchase 4 years ago, I have been busy buying rifles. Technically I have a XCR Micro and PWS Diablo, but they are both sporting a stock so I don't count them as pistols anymore.

I really want to get a 9mm 1911 but just cant front the money for a $1500-2000 kimber or STI.
