My See All optic review

I figured I would take a moment to write a short review on an optic I have wanted to try out for quite a while now. There really are not a lot of people using them so never got a chance to try it first. Reading other reviews, I decided to just order one. I went onto See All’s web page and noticed they ship to Canada so went directly with them. Being a bit of a Scotsman having the last name Cameron I decided to go with a refurb blemished model. The whole unit came to me for $90 CAD shipped.

I opted for the original model and out of the box I didn’t find any blemishes or issues. It slides over a weaver/picatinny rail and secures with two screws. It also has adjustment for windage and height. The sight works with a green fiber optic block and a small magnifier. When the sight is lined up with the eye it presents a green screen with a black arrow which you then line up with your target. I did find the arrow difficult to line up if I were to mount it on a pistol but on a rifle it became easy to line up after a few tries. As for light gathering it was pretty decent even in a dim basement. Another model with tritium is available for night use. Outside under cloudy and clear skies it is very easy to see.

I mounted the sight on a Ruger 10/22 I built with 16” SR-22 barrel and modified international stock. I wasn’t really sure what to do with this rifle until I picked up this sight for it.

Onto the range. I loaded up all my magazines and assumed I would have to use a mag or two to sight in at 25 yards but was very surprised or lucky that I had it sighted in with only 4 shots. See All suggests firing a group first to find POI. I made a slight adjustment as I like to have my shots go a little high and that was it, on target. I then brought the rifle to the outdoor range and had the same results at 50 yards. All shots within a 4” bullseye with no adjustment needed. I’m sure I could have really tuned it in but for me I’m not all that hot at that distance and there was a slight breeze so I was content with shot placement.

So, with several full magazines I proceeded to get down to some serious plinking. The only thing I really found is that it shoots an inch low at 10 yards but that’s only because of how I set the sights so not an issue. General use though it is very accurate for me from 10-50 yards and is a very natural feeling sight plus no batteries required. I could have posted more pictures of the sight but their webpage has lots.

Thanks for the detailed review! I've been looking for a sight for my little badger (truck gun), this would make a lot of sense.

Edit: I ordered one, the mk2 tritium with triangle (delta) sight.

Figured I might as well bring this back up, a month has gone by and am still as happy as I was in the original post. Back and forth to the range quite a few times, no issues.
