I did some research and with some trial and error I think I got a good combination here. I took a video camera, (canon sf400) an old scope ring and mounted the old scope ring upside down on my scope. I then took a weaver style scope mount and mounted it to the upside down scope ring. (drilled a slightly bigger hole in the mount to allow the camera mount screw to fit)....I also placed a thin (1/8") piece of rubber between the camera and the weaver mount to absorb some of the recoil......

The camera is mounted via an updown scope ring and dovetail scope mount attachment....


Missed a coyote in this video....

Edit: Never really got around to use it for coyote hunting after the initial testing..... the novelty wore out but the plan is sound..... Fired from a .223
