Here's my sweetie. Alloy frame - 34oz. - the magwell makes it easy to load the dozen Kimber Tac-Pro 8 round mags I've accumulated. Knock on wood I have put 2K through it in 3 months with no problem. I'm not crazy about the finish as it is chipping a bit on the feed ramp and the underside of the magwell. I expect some finish wear but it kind of bugs me a bit as I paid a premium for a Kimber. I think I will go for a Colt Special Combat Government next in Hard Chrome.

Goodluck with that one. After George Bush Senior made changes to American import and export laws, Colt decided to pull the plug on civilian sales in Canada. At least that is what was explained to me. Nichols is apparently the only Canadain distrubutor and they will only sell to LE and Military. You can sometimes find used Colts in your local gun shops or in the EE here.
