My son needs a new gun!

My son is 4 now. I would like to get him a new gun. But I'm not sure what yet! I want him prepared on every angle. He has a .22lr, .223, .303, 30/30, 30 06, .410 and a 12 gauge. Although he has only fired a pelet gun. His favourate is his .410 backpacker. I guess because it's small like him. But he loves guns. I want to get him something new for christmas. What do you guys think he should have?

why not take him to a shop and let him get a feel for something once he finds what he likes then use that as a baseline,
i have a cooey 84 for my son in .410 and ordering a H&R tamer in .410 for my daughter this xmas
 
my son is 5 and has shot the 22lr and the 410. he loves the feeling of power and the volume of the 410, but will often only take one or two shots then he sais his shoulder hurts too much.

the 22lr he'll shot more often. we'll spend a good half hour shotting used shotgun shells over.

so its a trade off.

I'm pretty sure with everything you have listed for your 4 yr old... you have him covered for anything on the North American continent - save for zombies and dinosaurs !

What about something in 16 or 20ga. ? Perhaps a SXS or O/U?

Ah, what he really needs is a classic drillings !!

Now that I'm typing... this just popped into mind - Savage MLII Stainless smokeless muzzleloader..

If you get him the Savage ML, can you adopt me next :D
 
i like the big 50 but what he really needs is a 20mm vulcan an anzio iron works bolt acution oughat make him the coolest kid in the school yard
 
Well in my opinion, mind u it'll take a few years to grow into it, but a 257 wby mag would be cool. Good for u for geting him interested early.
