Got to be 18 yrs old in newfie to apply for a big game license. Go figure , most kids lose interest in hunting big game before they start, dept. of wildlife said the average age of big game hunters is increasing every year , think thee trying to kill there own industry.

send him to ontario he could start at the age of 12 i believe and hunt on his own by 15

Excellent moose and great to see that father and son hunting. My father and I find it one of the most important things we can do together, and it was the birth of my son this year that got me back into shooting and firearms because I so want to give my son the great times that my father gave me out in the wild. Your son will remember that moose for the rest of his life!
