My son's first rifle for Christmas

Merry Christmas everybody. Thought I'd share my son's first rifle. I remember getting mine that special Christmas morning when I was seven. It was a Organ Arms chipmunk rifle. In That same tradition I bought my eight year old son a savage rascal. He's very excited.

Merry Christmas to you. That smile is worth a million bucks. Open your wallet dad he needs a lot of ammo. LOL Next Christmas we move up to a shot gun or even a centre fire. Good work dad. Get them young shooters going. I did the same with my two daughters. But then the boyfriend thing came up. I still have the one 22 It's an old FN single shot. My oldest girl says. That's my little 22. I'm sure your son will treasure that gun the rest of his life. Happy New Year to you and your family. age

Congrats! I've been rambling on here for months about how much my daughter likes her Rascal. The smile says it all, looks like a happy fellow! My daughter shoots CCI Quiet 22 and CCI CB longs mostly from hers, they do a fine job on soup cans! :)
 
awesome! my little guy is just turning 3 in a month, guess that's too young for a mini 22lr ? I've seen a really small one at wholesale a while ago, it was tiny.. maybe i'll get him that :)
 
Well guys lets face it. How many guns do we buy for our kids. Deep down inside we think( God i have to have it) I bought my daughter a air rifle 1000fps. She couldn't hold it or break it open to load the pellets. She was 7 years old. All the best to dads to get them young shooters out.
