Here's my build... most of it was transfered from my now probib AR SBR. Only thing new is the IBI 19" barrel and BCM MCMR rail.
Love this build, incredibly accurate and handles well.

Feel free to post your still-not-banned rifles below

No they are prohibited. And this thread should be deleted...

If you're worried about the communities reputation, don't bother because it only gets you so far with the other side. You know as well as I that these were never on the OIC so just leave your s### at the doorstep and enjoy the thread

I've had this discussion before, I've determined they are still non-restricted and can be used as such, which is what I've been doing.

TSE pulled the receiver set off the market because it had been deemed prohibited.
They were challenging this classification.
You have made your determination; the RCMP have made theirs.

I made my conclusion because the only thing saying that it's prohibited is a list (the FRT) which only businesses have access too, and which I don't. So how can they expect me to know for sure that it's prohib? No publicly available info, including anything on the RCMP site, shows it's prohib.

Not disagreeing or arguing, just explaining my position in more detail. I guess there's still a chance I theoretically get in trouble, depending how they decide to interpret this whole situation.

Unfortunately not accurate:

https://mpfirearmspublicstore.blob.core.windows.net/firearms-reference-table/frt-traf-eng.pdf

https://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/en/firearms/firearms-reference-table

However, the TSR is not found in the FRT (yet, I believe it has been submitted within the last 6 or 8 months) because it is an unlicensed copy of the ATRS Modern Sporter. And as such, 'borrows' that FRT.

Let's just all hope the squabbling is for nothing, and the conservatives get in and my stress levels can go down by about 10,000%. Plus maybe we can get their common sense firearms policy implemented.

A change of government would definitely best case scenario at this point, which would hopefully make all of this BS moot!

what worries me is they "say" they will reverse the oic so even if they do the modern sporter was not included in the oic so will they even bother to revert the changes in FRTs made after the fact
