Tis Summer down under now and I haaaaate it!

Hayfever as soon as the wind blows the Grass whilst everyone around is Cutting hay and Lucerne.

Yuck!

So in the mean time I tinker with Rifles, This summer it is the Ruger 303 which is getting the attention.

ive been toying with ideas for a few weeks but this makes most sense and carries minimal cost in setting up :p

So here she now is, ready to get a Sightin'in.

Got onto a #4 scope ring, dusted off the 2-7 off the Kimber, which I changed out for the Burris 3x-9x

Cant wait!

once I sighted roughly at 50 somewhere, I went to 100m an just spent the rest of my Handloaded Sierras aiming at Various "spots" with 2 and 3 shot groups, I put it down to my handloads being sub par, I have some corelokt 180s ill resight proper and buy One other box of 180 Corelokts for a good go at Hunting with it as is, then reload proper with Dies etc and the 150gr Sierras which 'into dirt look grouse for sambar'

looks like two groups, I kind of aimed at one spot, bottom 4 would be about 3 inch, total is almost 5 inch - again few variables. loads, barrel heat up, last few were dead cold an all printed lower , first shot esp went lower when doing 2 shot after another.

I'm happy though, my prevous groups , open sighted at 100m were like 8 inches apart LOL

Stoked!

Sometimes finding time to shoot is a project on it's own.

True enough, I am unlucky (maybe fortunate?) to be laid-up right now... so spending alot of time at the loading bench and range... I have been putting a thousand rounds a week down range... but that is not the norm.
