So went and bit the bullet and bought a trijicon sro 5moa. Before I bought it I thought “jeez I should check the World Wide Web and see if the sro matched with a shadow systems xr920 will fit in a safariland holster”. Well I forgot to do that. Came home. Mounted the optic (minus screws) and let me tell you. The pistol will not seat in the holster. Absolutely stunning work by me.
The optic is close to ejection port and thus cannot get retention. So my question is does anyone with a SS and Sro have this issue and find a solution?
Because the SS fits super tight with a spacer I ended up slightly scratching the base plate of the optic. So I can’t return it / exchange it.
