My T97 gen 2 just arrived. Surprise that the factory mag absolutely doesn't work....

Every post or vid I encountered said the original mag works but others doesn't. I think I just got an opposite. The factory is the worst possible mag I have seen (and I have seen plenty). The bottom plate is loosen. I can't even load more than 3 rounds in the mag without wrestle with it. It seems marginally ok with the CProd LAR15 mags. Not live fire yet but if even snapcaps jams I really don't have much faith at all. On the other hand, it absolutely love my Troy PAR factory mag. Drop free, smooth and not a single issue cycling at all. May be I will get more Troy mags then.
 
My buddies factory mag didn't work in his. My factory mag worked in his and mine.

No issues with feeding from anything unless the mag is really loose.. in any of the 3 I have access to right now.
 
I have had mixed experience with this gun since the beginning, there are lots of things done wrong compared to the mil version which is why there are many lemons out there. Can you post a photo of the issues ?
 
Many guns, even more expensive ones, often come with crappy mags and accessories.
Some Tavors came with totally non-functional mags.
Some ACRs came with junk plastic Magpul BUIS. Etc, etc.
The APC also came with throw away plastics.
I wish they would just pass the savings onto the customer and skip junk parts.

So not just Norcs......
 
Mine won't feed ether with dummy rounds, but works perfect with KTG dummy rounds.

Also my Chinese mag fits really tight, but AR15 G.I. mags fit perfect :)
