My T97NSR with handguard RIS installed

Except the m14.ca rail is the only real option for people who want to mount optics properly on these rifles.
Mine will stay irons, I don't think these were ever designed with optics in mind.

also the rail does not look like it is going to be "affordable" which defeats the purpose of this rifle, not to re-mention the fact that you are bubbaing the rifle for good, even if the next guy wants the rail on there you will be taking a huge hit because no one is going to pay you for your hack job it's sad but I'm sure most will agree that it's true

Also I think the rifle looks very slim and clean which is a plus compared to the Tavor and FS 2000 which in my opinion looks less elegant(not to say that Im implying t97 is better overall) adding the m14.ca rail ruins the clean look. this is just my opinion, each to their own of course.

Also, you know a cop is a real badass when he can stand around in full tactical gear with a friendly smile on his face and a 5 year old who is not intimidated by him.
 
This helps the look a little bit, but in my opinion it is still far to ugly to own. I am happy we are getting new guns, but this one is definitely not for me.

No sir, you are incorrect. We are not clamping the barrel during the installation process.

The retail price is set at $329.95. The T97NSR, from Accuracy Plus, is $899.00 and $849.95 from CanadaAmmo (pending). The instruction set will be clear, concise and simple.

We have improved the rifle's ergonomics, dynamic function and practical utility for modern optics and irons. We have reduced the mechanical offset significantly. We have a secure, optically precise, 14" 1913 picatinny rail at a reasonable price.

There are starting to be other options for the T97. Your MSRP of 329.95 just put it out of reach of a lot of people including me. You have a great product by the looks of it but a bit to pricey considering the rifle.

A few notes that should be read if comparisons are to be made to the FTU; for clarification, the T97.ca FTU has virtually no net weight gain to the original, while at the same time it lowers the mechanical offset, adds a 14" flat top 1913 picatinny rail allowing you to use AR15 scopes, red dots and irons out of the box, and changes the dynamic function of the T97NSR by adding a NON-reciprocating, side charging handle with an enhanced grasping contour and grip surface. For the amount of work and ingenuity that went into it, I have to say that is much less than I expected. I have seen one of the prototypes in person and was impressed with the thought that went into it. I personally cannot wait to get my hands on one!
 
Adding a side charging handle doesn't "dramatically improve" anything. It barely lowers the sight plane, and that is ONLY if you use a rail mounted red dot.

You have a good product. It's not the second coming of Christ.

Thank-you for this comment. The T97.ca FTU is a complex, military grade part that enhances the function of the T97NSR at less than half the price of other similarly configured bullpup rifles. A more detailed view on the T97.ca FTU will be made available on our web site over the next few days that will help illustrate its value to the end user. Only 275 FTUs are being made at this writing. A pre-order page will be established within days.
