My Tactical CSA

Hey, question about the FAB folding stock: is it on enough of an angle that it's still usable with the irons? I'm running a cowitnessed TRS25 red dot on a NEA rail and need more LOP than the current factory folder; I've got an AK grenade launcher buttpad on, and am comfortable with the cheek weld, but that's not the most rock-solid solution.

Yup. The FAB folding stock has the exact same angle as the metal stock. Gives you a perfect cheek weld. Automatically lines you up with the iron sights and if you are running a setup like I am, you just raise the cheek weld to your preferred height when looking through optics. I love it!

cant put the QD scope mount on without removing the folding stock because of the sling mount, a bit annoying

Did you try slipping the scope mount on starting 3/4 of the way on the rail(just covering where the hole on the rail is)? I am able to do this with the CSA mount and the universal AK mount that came with my red dot. Just angle it diagonally so you get the lower rails connected then let it fall into place and slide it on. Hope this might help you out.
