Everyone else was shivering their asses off. I had a windproof goretex coat.

I've already had to dodge three guys geared to the nines in multi-cam. The MC boots were a nice touch.

Yes, this is the IWI US Tavor. The bolt is very different. I'm doing a full sit down review on Thursday. Will have photos up tonight.
 
The guy took time out from his trip to give us some first impressions and upload a short video, and all some people could muster were stupid comments on his attire, etc.? Never mind that it apparently dipped to -8°C... Unreal. How about just "thanks"?

Did they say they will make a 18.5" barrel one just for us?

Before everyone gets too excited (and not to put a damper on the enthusiasm here), but this is not a TAR-21. It's a SAR-21, and has a different receiver and fire control group. There could also be some additional non-cosmetic internal changes.

There is a better than even chance that it will be subject to classification and review by the RCMP prior to being eligible for import or sale in Canada.
 
If I had the money would defiantly be on my list.
But the fact that I can get 2 AR's with accessories for the same price as a new tavor kinda kills me.
If it where around 2k and non-restricted it will be perfect for the Canadian market and would get my eye off the 97NSR (only chinese made weapon have every considered buying lol)

True - although both would still be restricted (which kind of defeats the purpose).

I've owned two Tavor's and swore I would not buy a third, but all this Tavor hype, is killing me. Thanks to TV for the update on the SAR-21. I don't see how this will not benefit the Tavor owners in Canada.

As for the camo+scarf+backpack... personally I don't care what he is wearing. I log onto CGN to talk about guns not give fashion advice.


(plus, I like his gear! color me jealous)
