Here sre some pics of my issue C8SFW. Thanks to all who helped with the parts.
You will have to excuse the crappy pics, I don't have all the fancy editing programs here yet.
Part list:

- Vltor carbine stock
- Tango Down vertical grip
- Troy Ind BUIS

Thanks for looking,

Sweet blaster.

Bet you can't wait to join the Short Dot Club ;)

Over on M4Carbine.net theres an article on dummy cording the caps on the vltor stock for field use. Mine haven't gone anywhere but I'm not crawling around in the dirt much.

Blue switch is coming out and the Redimag is going back on. Short dot is gonna be sweet. I need something for longer range shots and the Elcan is a paperweight. As for the Vltor tube covers, they held in place for the sbied and the batteries still work.
All those parts are just drop in, no real mods to to the action or barrel, plus I get to keep the full auto fun switch! And no, I am not an RCR.

It flips to the black side and it allows the PEQ in Hi-Power mode.
(dont just chuck the blue since it may got back to Canada for training one day)

From my PEQ-2B

In hindsight - mounting behind the front sight on the top rail of the RAS is best for impact avoidance...

FWIW -- its a SBBIED (Suicide Bicycle Borne Imp Exp Dev) ;)

I stuck a SF M962MU in the box with the Short Dot - so you can have a real light too :)

Plus I sent you my larue 1.93 -- so it clear the PEQ -- and I now dont have a mount for my other Short Dot -- so you had best mount it on the top rail...

I'm confused (as are almost all the civvies, probably).

What is this 'hi-power' mode, what does it do, and why can't you use it in Canada?

You're so not RCR ;)

I still remember Col. Cox and his penchant for matching socks. Not that we would have admitted it but boy were we jealous of the pat's. They had brit raingear, personal knives and occasionally, a us med pouch on their webbing - 1980's high speed to the max. lol
