My very first rifle.

There are SO many guns I'd like right now, but I'm going to stick to learning my rimfire right now (and also the SKS I have on order)....I've got a lot to learn, and of course SAFETY is paramount. My scope was bore-sighted when it was installed, but I have no idea about "zeroing" it....

Bore sighting MIGHT get it close. You still have to fine tune it.

Nice 1st rifle BTW.

IMO you've made an excellent choice for a first rifle and scope combination. Quality, accuracy, sensible magnification. Great for hunting and plinking out to 100. I went with nearly the same combo for my "go to" rimfire.

If yo ustart learning on a rimfire :yingyang: , you'll be able to afford continued learning.......and zeroing is basically just the process of wrapping your scope around the bullseye at a given distance........

Gonna check Wanstall out next time in the hood. Figure better get a 22 before trying out the new 30-06 xbolt (couldn't resist ISG 1 day sale last Sat.)

Too bad they closed all the Bby mtn clubs, Barnet was a short drive, cheap and not too busy.

Glad I picked up the 16 gun safe from CT sale last week, 40% off and $15 coupon. Very lonely in there now with just a pistol, darn PAL takes too long.
Got it at Wanstall's in Maple Ridge. A great bunch.
I haven't joined a range yet. It's on my 'to do' list. Been to the one in PoCo, but it seems pretty busy.

Nice combo, CZ's are accurate enough to deserve a nice scope.

To sight it in, take out the bolt, fasten it down to the kitchen table somehow. (heavy books, pillows, whatever you have as I am sure you don't have a vice at this time) and site at a distant object out the window through the bore. Then careful not to bump the gun adjust the crosshairs to the same object.
Worked like a charm for me with my cz 452 in 17hmr but I made a vice with plywood and ratchet straps.
