My visit to Dante!

Let the man dress how ever he likes. To each there own... I haven't come across a more active CGN'r that positively contributes to the site.

I'll second this comment ... he does go through a lot of trouble and expense on all our behalf in showcasing different vendors . Thanks a ton Rl1 . Cheers

Absolutely and totally agree with above post. Keep up the good work RL1.
You can never please all the people all the time. People generally will post what's inside them, if it's jealousy, negativity or whatever it will show up.

thanks...dont worry i am not discouraged...it does take a lot of time to take the pics, crop/edit them, upload, write the reviews etc...and yes, there are often costs involved..by contrast it requires zero thought or effort to post negative comments so that's how much attention i give them..zero.

Some of you need to shut up, let the man be who he is, I like his style and look great that way. Thanks again RL for all the reviews.

Funny clothing but another superb review! Thanks again RL1.

I started look forward to your posts - you need to do more of them! :D

Cheers,

I bought my first guns from Dante. Went in for a .22 Buckmark to have something to learn on. An hour later I had my sensible Buckmark and a Ruger GP100 .357. I have since been back quite a fiew times to pick up reloading supplies. Watch out what time you go, sometimes they can be crazy... Crazy busy... Like, almost line up in the street busy. It really is a unique shop in Montreal. The only place I know of where you could get absolutely everything you need to soot dinner and prepare it for cooking under one roof!?!?!?

yes you are not kidding about that! actually a few people mentioned this to me...Dante was kind enough to let me start taking pics before opening hours but man at 10:01 they were already starting to get busy and by the time i left at around 11:30 it was PACKED...especially the gun section....of all the stores i have visited on my tour, this was probably one of the busiest for a regular business day (it is not fair to compare against special events that i have covered).

btw, funny comment..a customer asked if he could borrow my camouflage webbing to hide from his wife as he just made a gun purchase hahaha

I don't see what you're seeing, but I'm interested in why you think that. Also, by Glock smile do you mean the pig nosing?

Look at the barrel. It already has a crap ton of wear when the slide is locked back. You should never have that much wear on a gun that's supposed to be brand new without a #### ton of dry fire.

The Glock smile is the slide rubbing on the barrel.

finally got around to taking more pics of the knife...

the other knife in the pic has a 7" blade!!!

the cool Virobloc locking mechanism keeps it locked open AND closed...but i did pinch myself the first time i used it...felt like hitting my shin in a trailer hitch lol

Wow, you must have gotten special access before or after closing times, I have never seen it empty like that. Every time I have been there, it was full, a bit of a jungle :)
