I got it to a point where the steps to remove the spring are clear as mud:D
Up front is where its not real clear, from what I have read..
Anyone with a book on the subject (not the lever , but the pins, and springs in there, cause the piston comes out the front right?), please feel free to offer any help, and thanks..

Chambers has a blown up schematic of the Vulcan on their site. When the cocking arm has been disconnected and free from the piston.Knock out the two pins holding the rear end cap .This is under tension from the mainspring and should be done with a spring compressor. The mainspring + piston with seal should slid right out .Harold

Hey thanks:cool:, gonna order the kit, got all the seals, and drawings, I had cold feet , but the main spring should not cause a problem with a 2 man job , under control, its like 80 fbs of pressure, I figure if the pin is easy to push through, I have the spring under control.
And Chambers seem to be a good source , with fine folks , from the few emails I have sent/rx...

If you go on the pyramid air sight they have step by step intructions for building a press from a large c-clamp and a couple boards....................Harold .... point the recieving end of the spring at the mother in-law

Actually I currently have 2

The one with the spring kit is a C1 the other is a Mark 1. I love the C1 the other one is complete and works but I'm using it as a project gun.
:)

I have a Vulcan too, I bought mine new in 1985 (is it really that long???). It has the original internals as it has only shot around 2000 shots (if that), I have never stripped it, only thing I did was remove the open sights and ad a scope and put a silencer on it (we are aloud them here).

Still a nice gun to shoot, enjoy yours

The Webleys have high quality factory springs rare these days so if it's not broke don't fix it...............Harold
