Just thought I'd share a pic of my latest - a Walther PP in .380 that I had re-barreled and re-registered as a restricted only. :dancingbanana: I know some of you will cring over the extended barrel but my 'smith did a good job with it and blued it so it is not as eye catching as an unfinished barrel. Had it out today and its a lot of fun - pretty snappy little gun!

My 'smith charged me $125 for the blueing and re-barreling work. It was well worth the money - keeps a prohib from ending up in the furnace!

Danny1444 - your buddies Walther will need to be rechambered from .32 caliber as well as having the barrel lenghtened. I don't know if that would be an easy conversion or not - could get pricey!

That actually looks pretty good.

My thoughts, too. I have 12(6) and usually detest 'stick out' barrel shorties. Your 'smith did a nice job, though. Kinda looks like it's sticking out it's tongue... :D

I had the pleasure fo shooting this litle fella and have to say it's a great little gun.

The picture doesn't do justice to the blueing the smith did. It' matches the finsh of the rest of the gun so well it's almost looks stock. A few months of wear on it and you'll think it was shipped that way.

Nice little gun and pretty acurate once you get the sights figured out..of course SnowDog is a better shot than me at the worst of times anyway :D

Thinking of one for concealed carry. The pice is right even with the barrel work, and it has so much more style than a G26.

I had one done in .380 as well, great little shooter. Im also having one converted from .380 to .22cal and cant wait to get it !! When its all done ... not sure yet when that will be, I should have a complete slide up for grabs if anyone has a .32 that they want to convert.

I hate putting longer barrels on them, but like someone else already said ...its better than melting them down or chopping them up !!

I just feel for you folks. The politicians must think that little bit of extra barrel turns it from an EVIL gun into a nice one.

By the way, nice bit of work. At least you can now own and shoot it.
