I'm a compulsive garage , yard sale addict I admit, went to a local estate sale of an apparently very interesting guy, gun, marine, welding , mechanical and a bunch of other stuff, must have led quite the life. Local guy, but I never knew him, too bad. Went out to the shed and the guy in charge points to a pile and says, that's a coast guard flag and there's an Afghan one. Ears perk up 
, Apparently, his father served as a welder at Khandahar, that's where the flag was from. Decided to hang it in my hallway, symbol of a lost state and how we screwed up again, not to mention the blood and treasure it cost us.
