My wife's first buck

Took my wife out hunting again this year over on Texada Island, BC, and although she got a doe last year, she got her first buck this year

She was so excited and suffering the buck-fever as she was shaking with adreneline after the kill. Very fun weekend out with her and our Chesapeake, even though I had tagged out on mule deer for the season already and could only walk at distance away from her while she stalked down game trails.

Congrats to your wife...Looks like a great kill...I'm thinking of heading up to Texada in the spring in the RV to do some camping. I imagine there would be lots of remote spots to target shoot a long gun but are you aware of any ranges or clubs on the Texada Island where I can target shoot a pistol? Where do the locals shoot?
