My wife's second time shooting!!

I took my wife shooting today for second time as I had a sneaking suspicion she was a natural with a precision rifle. The first time out she was very calm picked up on everything real quick shot my old .308 3 times at 200m popped some balloons then took my T-Wolf and shot a clay pigeon hanging at 300m as it was swaying in the wind walked away from the rifle and said she was bored and started reading some ### ass vampire book did some knitting too while I shot:eek:

So today I said try and shoot a group with my .308 built by the Barrel Pimp at North Shore Barrels :cool::cool: She fired 6 rounds at 100m after I gave her some pointers the ammo used was Hornady match 178 gr factory ammo winds were 15km - 20km blowing left - right used Harris bi pod and rear bag rifle was not adjusted to her it was left as is, trigger is 1.5 lbs 6 shot group measured .510" not bad eh!!:) my best group with this ammo today was exactly the same. I had better groups of course with my hand loads today but could not get the wife back onto the range to shoot the hand loads she was bored wanted to go shopping :bangHead: I will post pic of rifle Thursday when I get back from trip!

They have patience is all ... my ex gal-pal Silu used to out shoot me all the time ... kudo's to your wife!

d:h: one day! I would probably have to bribe her with shopping and she would make me endure it as well :HR: She picks everything up and checks it out like she is looking at a priceless diamond even if it's junk:mad:

My Dad always said it is because they have less muscle structure. He figures the rifle doesn't jump as much because recoil is absorbed vs stopped, energy that can't move rearward moves up/sideways/wherever it can. Idk made sense to me. Coulda just been an excuse, Mom was an awesome shot.

Me, too. Dozens of them, in fact, have impressed, after walking in off the street and being taught the bare minimum basics of prone rifle marksmanship. I attribute it to an absence of the typical male macho-fuelled aversion to being taught something.

If your wife is that tall, very attractive, quiet-mannered woman that I occasionally have a chat with, when she works over at the Mountain?.
If that is so, not at all suprised to hear that she is as good with a rifle ... as she definately is with a camera.

You are thinking of another DG Photography you have obviously met before not me I am from Onteribble.

I have no recent pics of my wife she went on my computer and erased them I had nude and other revealing shots:mad:

Not to worry DG, only ever "worked" with her but the once ... she atop moi that time :evil:
.... a BM village shoot it was, 'taken' from high angle, up a balcony was she, ... ever so proper, and civilized, behavior displayed by 'ol vviking, on that particular day.
In the public eye, ones options are limited.;)

'Prolly for the best that those pics never get aired .... at my advanced age, blood pressure comes into play!.

Typical ... man moves heaven and the earth to aquire and tune a tackdriver .... 'lil lady plops down behind said super-rifle 'n cuts smaller bugholes right outta the gate. :yingyang:
