My word...it wasnt even a Norinco

I love my norc full length!! Was shooting her yesterday. I was getting 4ish MOA with norc ammo and iron sights
OP, the OP rod is a wear item, it has a life span
10 round group 120 yards, iron sights

I sure liked the M14 community here back when everybody got along and helped each other out regardless of brand of rifle or whatever.
These days.... Not so much ....

Didn't you say he nailed it? That was your response to mymomma's claim that the ultra wealthy SAI owners would accuse said unfortunate SAI owner of being uncoordinated and bringing the oprod failure on themselves due to a lack of intelligence and or proper breeding? Clearly not worthy of such a fine rifle.

That's not possible! You must have Cerebral Palsey. These rifles shoot 1 " at 100 yds out of the box with Norinco Gord Medar Match.

Comprehension, my friend comprehension.

It wasn't me that wrote that.

I love you anyways....

This is one of the funniest threads I have read in a long time. Except for that unfortunate comment about people with Cerebral Palsy.

Why else would bayo lugs be so important? This is what they're talking about when you hear rabbling about the shorty having better ballistics! Its got nothing to do with the round being fired and everything to do with the projectile.

This had tea coming out of my nose ROFLMFAO
Cheers :)
As an added bonus, those lucky bastards with the self dismantling Norcs are halfway thru the cleaning job before they even go home.
Every clouds got a silver lining :)

Hot off the press...

Hand guard pops loose while shooting.
Hello all,

I finally took my Springfield M1A standard to the rang for the first time today. She functioned well except the left side of the hand guard clip (and therefore the hand guard) popped free of the grooves during each shot. The clip on this side of the rifle rests on the stock and seems to be under a lot or tension (between the stock and groove in the barrel). Ay thoughts on how to fix this? My initial thoughts are 1. trim the clip on this side, 2. replace the clip and hope for a better fit, or 3. trim the stock (standard Springfield synthetic stock). Tanks in advance for the help.

Just to piss everyone off hehehe I'm gonna build up a springfield M1A receiver with a norc barrel, lrb bolt, sei trigger and whatever else I have laying around. RWB oprod, BM59 rear sights, usgi gas system and flash hider.... I'll make my own stock.
It will be a franken M1A ... Now I just need some of that chinese gord medar match ammo referred to earlier hehehe
So who's horrified ;) and which part should we guess will fail first??
