My word...it wasnt even a Norinco

I got a Norinco M14 and .223 CSA Vz 58 Sporter which are both suppose to be complete pieces of ####s according to what is said about them on this web site. Both have been functioning flawlessly.

Norc M14 target at 75 meters 82 yards.

I saw a comment about how if you can't afford a $2000 gun then you probably cant afford to look after your children or even have children. No, just most of us don't have a random $2000 laying around to blow on something. Life always comes first and at the end of the day, were able to afford the less expensive gun.

Never meant to be devisive , it was meant to show that even the "holy grails" come with issues. I hate it when people, who want to be divisive, only present half the picture. Not all norcs blow up and not all m1a's are perfect...

Thats a fair statement. My concern comes from the fact that we have seen catastrophic failures of chinese rifles. I'm not shooting anything that has potential to blow up in my face. Myself I've replaced a trigger pin and a bolt roller in my M1A standard. All parts than can be purchased as spares from Treeline and whose failures did not endanger me.

Life is dangerous. Pack accordingly.

Now everyone play nice. Sometimes you get what you pay for, sometimes you get less, sometimes you get more. Sometimes you pay with more than money, regardless.

This thread is like arguing that Russian women are bad wives, because your buddy had one cheat on him. No neccessarily, unless you marry the same girl, and even then, your buddy may be unbearable... silly.

Let's just shoot.
